My next goal for this unit is to make a fruit bowl out of coils like these two

The coils from last class dried out and broke, so I remade it from scratch

- My things came out of the kiln and I LOVE them

- I gave the cat to my mom for her cubicle

October 16/17

Fixed the cracks with slip and added some more clay for stability

Left it out to dry in the sun

- THE RAPTURE

- I can't believe this bowl broke I'm so disappointed and now I don't want to make anything ever again

- Jk I made three more things

- I really like this mug -- I think I'm going to paint it green

- I don't know what I'm going to do with the bowl in the back

- I'm not the biggest fan of the coaster, but it fulfills the coil project that the bowl would have so oh well.

October 24

I don't nessecarily want to make this, but I missed class today because I played in the SCCAL golf tournament representing our school and won third place! I figured this cup was on theme. I could make a vase or mug that looks like a golf ball though... I'm sure that would be a good Christmas present for my step dad.

October 26

- Candle container with tulip handle

- Pinch pot with a foot and cap

- I plan to paint it orange with little decorations on it

- I want to make my own candle in it with a orange vanilla scent

October 31

- Glazed mug with underglaze painted on cup and handle (clear glaze)

- Touched up my candle container with the tulip handle (added slip to the top)

- trashed my coaster for the coils project

November 02

Berry containers have been on my list for a while, I would really like to make some for decoration and practical use

This is the general painting inspiration that I used on my mug that I glazed last class, I really hope it ends up looking similar to the top middle mug

November 07

I want to make a vase like the one in this picture. I like the simple design on it, as well as the color and the way it looks on display. I would most likely use a more valuable clay that isn't low fire white considering that it is really big, and I would use underglaze to paint on it

I really like these mugs becuase they are from one of my favorite shows, I would really like to make them

November 21

I've been OBSESSED with blue and white drawings (like Greek vibes) and red and pink bows. I really love the look of the blue drawing which would be fun to draw with underglaze

Molding a bow like this might be out of my skill range, but I would love to try it anyways

November 23

Red and blue gingham has been a fixation of mine lately, would love to paint onto a bowl/mug or something
